Please be
aware that we are currently at full capacity (July 2010) and are un-able to
take on any new clients at the moment.
Unfortunately we cannot take bookings online.
We do aim to be on time
or early to every appointment but there are many factors that can affect our
schedule like heavy traffic or the client being held up etc. But the biggest
cause of delays though is when the dog takes longer than is expected to
finish, and obviously we won't leave a dog half finished to save time! This
is why it is vital to be as honest as you can about the condition and what
you would like us to do (full clip / light trim etc) to your dog when you
book.
To try and reduce the problems this can cause we have started to give our
clients a 'between' time, i.e., between 2 and 3pm, but if we are running more
than about 30 min's late we will call you before hand to let you know.
Please ensure that your dog has been to the toilet before your
appointment. If we are doing an all over clip then please also
ensure that your dog is dry prior to us arriving as we 'rough clip' the coat
before the bath to remove most of the coat. If the coat is wet, the clippers
won't work, so we have to wash and dry all of the coat, and then clip it
off!
If you have booked a clip only without a wash, please ensure that you
have washed your dog the day before your appointment and that they are dry
when we arrive.
Remember that this is a mobile service. Our vehicle is a
Land Rover Discovery with a trailer about the size of a horse box which needs about 3
car lengths to park. It is your responsibility to ensure we have somewhere
safe, level and on the same side of the road close
to your home to park. If parking is a problem then please tell us when
you book. Some of our clients save space by placing wheelie bins or
their own car in the road before we arrive which normally works well but if
we are unable to park close enough to your house and the appointment has to
be cancelled then a cancellation fee will be
charged. As an alternative, you are welcome to bring your dog to us in Pevensey Bay.
At present we are booking up to 5 weeks ahead so please book early to
avoid disappointment.
If you need to change or cancel your booking then please call us as soon
as possible to avoid any charges.
Cancellations within 24hrs of appointment will incur a
£10 charge.
No suitable parking and 'no shows' (forgotten
bookings) will incur a £20 charge.
We reserve the right to refuse to work on snappy and aggressive dogs
and if we feel threatened by your dog, we may bring them back un-finished
and end the grooming session early.
